PON 6189 Letter of Intent Form

Introduction

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Drop-in Alternative Fuels Pilot, Demonstration, and First-of-a-Kind Commercial Projects (PON 6189).
NYSERDA strongly encourages you to fill out the brief form below. Once complete, it will be considered your Letter of Intent. A Letter of Intent is not mandatory, but it can help you know whether or not your full proposal submission will meet the solicitation requirements.

When should I fill out the form?

As soon as possible. PON 6189 accepts proposals on a rolling basis, so Letters of Intent are accepted at any time until the solicitation is closed. NYSERDA will respond regarding the eligibility of your solution within three weeks of receiving your completed Letter of Intent. Letters of Intent received within three weeks of the solicitation closing date may not receive an eligibility response before close. 

If I receive negative feedback about my Letter of Intent submission, can I still submit a full proposal?

Yes.

If my solution as described in this Letter of Intent meets the minimum requirements, do I still need to submit a full proposal?

Yes. If the solution is deemed to meet minimum requirements, it is not an indication of your planned proposal’s responsiveness to the solicitation or its merit, which will be determined upon review of the full proposal.

Once I submit the form, then what?

You will receive confirmation and a tracking number on your screen to print or save. You can expect NYSERDA to respond to you within three weeks.

When you complete and submit the form, you will receive a confirmation and a tracking number on your screen to print or save. Refer to this tracking number to check on the status of your request.
